iAffairs Canada is an initiative of the Canadian Foreign Policy Journal (CFPJ) focused on engaging and promoting students, emerging scholars, and young professionals. The website is housed at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) at Carleton University and managed by NPSIA students with the support and oversight of the editorial staff of CFPJ.
You can support iAffairs Canada in several ways:
Content Support – There are a number of ways you can contribute content to iAffairs Canada:
- Contribute Submissions/Posts: Join the iAffairs Team as an Associate Editor or Contributor and submit weekly or monthly posts related to a topic or region of choice (max. 750 words). We are also looking for multimedia submissions such as interviews and recordings. We welcome submissions in either English or French and are currently interested in expanding our French content. - Professors of International Affairs: We are actively seeking professors to encourage student blogging by including it on their syllabus as required course work. For more information about how to incorporate iAffairs Canada into your syllabus please contact Professor David Carment.
- Student Organizations: Part of our strategy for ensuring our content is up-to-date, topical, and promotes young scholars is to partner with student run organizations. In addition to helping iAffairs Canada, these partnerships provide their membership with a larger readership of their publications, bring more internet traffic to their websites, and help promote their events to a broader community.
- Institutional Partnership/Affiliation: Join the iAffairs Network and have your content-relevant website/organization promoted on our home page. iAffairs Canada is hoping to build a strong network of international affairs websites under a single online hub.
